We are hiring for a full time CAD/CAM Manager at our Downers Grove, IL location.
In this role, you will focus on production efficiency as well as ensure workflow runs smoothly, review quality control as well as troubleshoot and lead both internal and external technical support.
Responsibilities (tasks associated with this role):Internal technical support
Provide support and technical solutions to individual department positions
Troubleshooting software, printers, mills
Communication with design company
Tracking and communicating with manufacturers
Step 2 technical support calls for equipment malfunctions
Technical calls to software companies for various inquiries
External technical support
Work with doctors in an assortment of ways; providing/receiving feedback, product education, IOS support
Receiving feedback and communicating with other departments
Communicating with, remoting into, and helping satellite locations
Quality Control
Assessing positions on quality and efficiency; overlooking department production
Design QC; importing and distributing
Production scheduling assistance per position, overall department workflow scheduling
Checkpoint for lab Rx case set up, product selection, digital technical evaluation
Management
’Jack of all trades’, ability to jump into any role
Manage position workloads
General department inventory management, coordination with positional inventory
Energize and motivate department members
High level of communication skills, higher level of time management and organization
Problem solving, improvising, and self-sufficiency
Delegates appropriately, arrives early and stays late when needed
Plans and executes department goals
Shows “how”, explains “why”

Multitasking, time management, organization, communication all must blend at a high level to handle the daily problems that need to be smoothed out. Production minded, has the ability to handle high quantity while still maintaining an eye for quality. Orchestrates each department position to function on their own while seamlessly connecting to one another, often filling the gaps in between.
